Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is a rare, chronic, autoimmune-mediated disease of the intrahepatic bile ducts that requires precise, timely clinical decisions to ensure early diagnosis and prompt treatment initiation. However, many patients continue to experience inadequate disease control on first-line therapy. Fortunately, the PBC treatment landscape has expanded with the approval of two peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) agonists, elafibranor and seladelpar, creating new opportunities to improve disease control and patient outcomes.
Throughout this 2-part series, interactive polling and case discussions will provide you with the opportunity to assess your diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making, supported by evidence-based best practices and expert faculty insights.
